2 bell peppers
Simple Grilled Veggies
Bell peppers and red onion tossed with olive oil and Borsari seasoning, then grilled in a basket until tender. A simple, customizable vegetable side for any meal.
Ingredients
1 red onion
Olive oil, approximately 2 tablespoons
Borsari seasoning, to taste
Grilling basket
Steps
Turn your grill on to medium heat.
Cut your peppers and onions into similar sized chunks or slices. (Get creative and curious. What shapes and sizes of veggies do you prefer?! Do you prefer red bell peppers over green or yellow bell peppers over orange?)
Place your veggies in a bowl, drizzling them with olive oil. Sprinkle Borsari seasoning on top. Use your clean hands or a spoon to evenly distribute the olive oil and seasoning on your veggies.
Place veggies in a grilling basket. You may want to put your grilling basket on top of a cutting board to minimize the drip of olive oil as you walk your veggies to the grill.
Place grilling basket on your grill and close the cover of your grill.
Check your vegetables after 5 minutes, using tongs or a spoon to move your veggies around.
When the veggies are grilled to your liking (typically after 10 minutes total), carefully remove your grilling basket from the grill, turn off your grill and serve your veggie medley as a side to any meal.
